Summer

You came and went so quickly. You were full of surprises, new friends, and singing country songs driving down a dirt road. Come back, oh please. No school, going to the beach, the air was so full of happiness...Why'd you leave?

The Receptionist

The phone rings every second, everyone always needs her.

She always has to answer with a smiling face.

Even if she sounds happy, she may be frowning.

If she sounds angry, she might as well be smiling.

She works so hard, she never stops.

So, receptionist. How can you do all of this?

How do you handle it?

How could you sing a chorus like that?

Butterflies

Everytime I see you the butteRflies flutter.
I try to forget about you, but I know that won't happen. 
I went up and down on your roller coaster till I couldn't take it anymore. 
I refused to talk to you, but of course I fell right back in. 
Everytime I talk to you, it makes me fall deeper
Even when I think i'm over you, I know that i'm just lying to myself
I know these butterflies will never stop fluttering
